Description of Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for providing support to resolve application and software issues.
Researches, documents, tests, and tracks software related issues, patches, hotfixes, and upgrades.
Responsible for assisting department staff with the selection, installation, and maintenance of software systems and interfaces.
Installs and configures software on specific computers and servers.
Responsible for providing technical support to customer staff.
Provides software support and basic instruction to staff members on FHCN software systems.
Documents support calls, e-mails and provides accurate solutions to issues on a timely basis using the ticket tracking system.
Responsible for managing the technical maintenance of the organization’s social networking presence on the internet.
Works after hours and/or weekends to meet the demand of projects and implementation schedules.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Description of Primary Attributes
Professional & Technical Knowledge:
Possesses work-related skills at a higher level than completion of high school, including formal written and verbal communications skills, computational and computer skills, mathematical, technical or health care related knowledge frequently acquired through completion of a trade school, para-professional, or certificate type program.
Job duties require knowledge and training in the field of applications and software support.
Technical Skills:
Ability to prepare more complex documents in Microsoft Word, including creating tables, charts, graphs and other elements.
Ability to use Microsoft Excel to review and compile data, including the use of formulas, functions, lookup tables and other standard spreadsheet elements.
Ability to create basic presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform simple application updates and modifications.
Licenses & Certifications: None required.
Communications Skills:
Job duties require the compilation of information prepared in effective written form, including correspondence, reports, articles or other documentation.
Effectively conveys technical information to non-technical audiences.
