* *JOB OVERVIEW* We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Flooring Salesperson to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial flooring sales, demonstrating strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and a passion for exceeding sales targets.
*RESPONSIBILITIES* * Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand their flooring needs.
* Sales Generation: Actively prospect and generate leads, identifying new business opportunities in the contract flooring market.
Achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Product Knowledge: Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in flooring materials.
Provide clients with expert advice on product selection based on their requirements.
* Quotation and Proposal Development: Prepare detailed and accurate quotations and proposals for flooring projects, considering client specifications and budget constraints.
* Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable deals for both the client and the company.
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including estimators and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
* Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential areas for business growth.
*QUALIFICATIONS* * Proven experience in contract flooring sales, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* In-depth knowledge of commercial flooring materials, applications, and installation processes.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales goals.
* Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in flooring sales.
