As a Store Manager for Cricket Wireless, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily operations of the store and lead a team of sales associates.
You will be responsible for driving sales, achieving targets, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Your role will involve managing inventory, training and coaching employees, implementing marketing strategies, and maintaining a positive brand image for Cricket Wireless.
Your main objective will be to create an environment that fosters exceptional customer service, drives sales growth, and maintains operational efficiency.
By effectively managing the store and leading your team, you will contribute to the overall success of Cricket Wireless.
Your responsibilities will include: 1.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure continuous improvement in performance.
Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork and collaboration.

Sales Performance: Drive sales growth by setting ambitious targets, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing effective sales strategies.
Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and take proactive measures to achieve or exceed sales goals.

Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer receives exceptional service by setting high standards for customer engagement and satisfaction.
Train employees on effective selling techniques, product knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate stock management.
Collaborate with suppliers to maintain adequate product availability while minimizing excess inventory.

Store Operations: Manage all aspects of store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, security protocols, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment that reflects the Cricket Wireless brand image.

Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and community outreach programs.
Leverage social media platforms to engage with customers and drive foot traffic to the store.

Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on sales performance, inventory management, and employee productivity.
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Use insights to develop action plans and make informed business decisions.

*General Duties: * * Consistently demonstrate a commitment to Spacetel LLC policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities; * Monitor cash flow, inventory flow, and pricing; * Set and achieve sales goals and service performance requirements through new customer sales, sales of accessories and features, and by providing excellent customer satisfaction; * Oversee operations of multiple storefronts in assigned districts when needed; * Responsible for local grassroots marketing and prospecting initiatives.
Solicit, coordinate and participate in community events; * Set the tone for store culture and environment to ensure success in all aspects of sales and customer service; * Supervision of sales staff includes but not limited to; leading by example, mentoring, Motivating, coaching, scheduling and counseling; * Meet deadlines, be cooperative, and have a flexible schedule; * Ensure deposits are made and staffing is adequate when working without a store manager; * Oversee hiring, terminations, performance, and salary decisions of the district assigned; * Provide positive reinforcement and training to promote learning and growth of sales associates; * Maintain a clean working environment; * Share best practices with other store locations of Spacetel LLC; * Manage and direct all activities related to bank deposits; * Assure the Cash Safe and Phone/Device Safe is locked at all times when not in use; while keeping company assets protected and accounted for; * Update and respond to all reports assigned by HR; * Perform closing duties as part of your store daily checklist (including but not limited to locking all safes, doors, windows and ensuring the alarm system is activated); * Provide resolutions to customer complaints regarding sales and service; * Manage ordering, receiving and discrepancies; * Complete daily, weekly and month-end counts; * Establish and maintain adherence to budget; * Master Velocity Training and Management program for personal growth and employee development; * Develop and Manage positive business relationships with staff and customers; * Participate in the new hire process-review resumes sent by HR, while performing phone screenings, in-person interviews, and complete onboarding for new hires; * Capable of teaching and training struggling employees to become successful in their role; * Possess a competitive spirit and desire to meet and exceed goals objectives assigned; * Multi-task in a fast paced team environment; * Educate and engage customers through product demonstrations; * Interact with customers and provide prompt and courteous customer service; * Must be able to plan and create informative meetings with staff; * Conduct positive coaching sessions as needed for corrective action;s * Must be able to communicate daily achievements with store employees; * Must highlight accomplishments of the day with store employees; * Be accountable for team communications by ensuring communications from upper management of the Corporate Office are delivered to all staff in the assigned district; and ensure that they fully; understand said communications and are immediately implemented in the stores.
* Perform all duties of employees as needed; * Assure all store locations open timely according to store location hour;s * Follow all directives of District Managers, Regional Managers and Spacetel LLC Corporate Office; * Must maintain store in accordance with the safety regulations set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); * Ensure that the store is consistently clean and well-maintained.
Maintenance activities shall include but not be limited to cleaning air vents, carpets, wall mounts, accessory walls, display areas and ensuring the premises are free from debris.
*The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:* * Follow all State, Federal and Navajo laws (Including Resolutions and Ordinances) accordingly; * Must adhere to all SOPs and Policies and Procedures of Spacetel LLC and of Cricket Wireless.
* Financial Management-including safekeeping of monies and devices by following all Policies and Procedures including ensuring company assets are locked in a safe at all times.
* Will not take money out of the store locations for any reason at any time (will not send any money/wire transfers, example Western Union or MoneyGram with store monies or assets); * Inventory Management, ensuring all inventory is secured and accounted for; * Ensuring proper time management; checking and validating clock in/outs on a daily basis (will submit time card fixes/regularizations, submit leave requests for all leaves, late arrivals, depart early outside of scheduled shift); * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, peak retail selling periods and holidays; * Able to meet the requirement to work full hours on (at minimum) two weekends of a month; * Able to travel and work in other locations of Spacetel LLC; * Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 10-25 pounds; * Ability to complete all paperwork completely, accurately and in a timely manner; * Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, point of sale system, copier and fax; * Complete all aspects of opening and closing the store in accordance with written and oral procedures; * Regular physical activity will be required; setting up promotional material, changing out displays, etc.
; * Submit all end of day sales transactions on a daily basis; * Ensuring all inventory is secured and accounted for and follows the operations standard of procedures; * Maintain a clean and presentable working environment; * Ensure all required Cricket and Spacetel LLC trainings are completed on time; * Have an understanding and knowledge of all Cricket materials and keep up to date with new promos; * Communicate opportunities and problems that upper management needs to be made aware of; * Help conduct inventory serial number checks; * Monitor company promo changes and respond timely to company email; * Work in other locations as the needs of the business dictate may be required; * Assists with inventory maintenance; * Any other reasonable work-related requests.
*Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
* Previous experience in retail, preferably in the wireless industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
* Knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising principles.
* Familiarity with marketing strategies and community engagement initiatives.
* Proficient in using computer systems and point-of-sale software.
