Responsibilities
Oversee the Spa front desk, address and answer guest questions or concerns, and ensure adherence to all Spa policies and procedures.
Establish and maintain inventory and ordering, keeping within budget guidelines, while setting goals for retail sales on a daily and monthly basis.
Record and file purchase orders by vendor and route to appropriate approvers.
Assist Spa Director with payroll, commissions, and tips reporting as well as the daily operation.
Assist with associate staffing, training, coaching, and safety.
Cultivate and maintain professional working relationship with all departments.
Help maintain a controlled and relaxing working environment throughout the spa to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
Ensure Guest Path and Green Path compliance for all associates.
Monitor progress of work assignments for all staff; provide rewards and recognition.
Record minutes at Spa associate meetings and follow up communications with all associates.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and one to three years of experience working in a spa or resort environment.
Excellent guest service, communication, organization, and detail skills.
Ability to work unsupervised, and work flexible schedules such as days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Ability to supervise staff in the absence of the Spa Director.
Strong leadership and associate motivation skills.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds with frequent twisting, bending and reaching.
Ability to work longer than 8 hours when necessary.
