Responsibilities:
As the Vice President, Chief Ethics, Compliance and Privacy Officer (CECPO) for Community Health System, you will be responsible for overseeing the Privacy department and providing compliance risk assessments, audits, reviews, appraisals, monitoring and feedback.
Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees and serving as the primary contact for activities related to compliance and regulatory issues, you will ensure effective communication, staff development, budget support, and more while providing insight and direction for our Compliance and Privacy programs.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field (i.
e.
, Finance or Accounting) or a Healthcare related field (i.
e.
, MHA, MSN) required
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and local third party carrier regulations and healthcare regulatory requirements (e.
g.
, DHHS, DOJ, OIG, The Joint Commission (TJC) and Medicare Conditions of Participation and Payment) required
10 years in Healthcare Compliance or related Healthcare field experience, including regulations or audit required
5 years of relevant leadership experience required
Licenses and Certifications
CHC - Certified Healthcare Compliance required
CHRC - Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance required
And one or more of the following is required
CHP - Certified HIPAA Professional
CHPC - Certified Healthcare Privacy Compliance
CHIAP - Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional
CCPROF - Certified Compliance Professional
CCEP - Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional
