If you are starting an action, this may include drafting civil lawsuits, complaints, motions, discovery, demurrers, and all the normal pleadings necessary to commence a civil action.
If you are defending a lawsuit, then an answer or other form of response may be appropriate such as a demurrer, discovery requests, and the normal pleadings which are expected or required.
If you are appealing or defending a judgment, an appeal brief would be necessary.
