Messner Reeves LLP, a full-service, business law firm, with 11 offices nationwide, seeks an experienced *Labor and Employment Associate* at our *Orange County Office.
*
*The ideal candidate will possess the following:*
* One to six years’ experience in California Employment, Labor Law and PAGA experience.
* The candidate must have litigation experience, preferably defense side on employment cases, including managing written discovery, and preparing for depositions.
* A major role in employment litigation and counseling in a wide range of employment cases including individual, class, and PAGA litigation.
* Experience defending clients in employment litigation, including class action/PAGA cases.
* We are looking for a long-term addition to our team who has a great work ethic, and positive attitude.
* Established a book of business with the desire to continue to grow their practice through the full support of the firm.
*Requirements:*
* Excel in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to negotiate, research, and communicate both verbally and in writing.
* Proficiency in taking depositions, hearing attendance and trial preparation.
* Proven ability to foster strong relationships with potential clients while maintaining excellent services for existing clients.
* Licensed and in good standing with the *California State Bar.
