Table Mountain Rancheria Tribal Government in Friant, California is currently seeking a Paralegal.

_Candidate(s) selected for the position must be able to pass an extensive background check.
_ This position assists the Legal Counsel in staff capacity by handling a wide variety of situations involving administrative and legal functions.
Duties include: * Creates and maintains Memorandums * Serve as a Notary Public for the Organization when needed * Arrange meetings and meet weekly with Legal Counsel to discuss assignments * Notifies Legal Counsel of any questions, concerns or issues received from the Tribal Members * Delivers legal documents to the courthouse * Reviews contracts and other legal documents * Maintains and coordinates with Legal Counsel on calendars/meetings * Readily assist in the preparation of agendas, notices, and legal meeting minutes * Generate template related responses to legal related inquiries * Maintains legal contracts and records for Legal Counsel * Prepares informative packets needed for legal meetings * Arrange travel for conferences and or meetings as directed *Education/Experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration unless otherwise waived by Tribal Council as based on determined experience as well as accomplishments.
Seven (7) or more years of prior experience as well as other relevant education or work experience.
Notary Public License and Paralegal Certification.
