A4-Springboard Reading Program *4 Positions Available* Position Program Date Range: 1/8/24 - 4/25/24 Program Time: varies, depending on sites School Sites: Varies, as assigned (responsible for up to 3-4 elementary sites) SPRINGBOARD TEACHER- Certificated Position Purpose: To lead and develop Program Leaders as coaches.
To guide and support Program Leaders that are responsible for supporting instruction.
The cluster leader is to also ensure that best practices in guided reading are being implemented.
Time Commitment: Seasonal - 16 weeks Minimum Qualifications: Must have multi-subject or single-subject related credentials, Admin credentials or equivalent 3+ managerial experience Knowledge and abilities: Content knowledge and experience in elementary literacy, extensive pre-K - 3rd grade content knowledge and professional resources Use data to drive instruction Experience in facilitating teacher PLC's, reviewing data to create small groups, and one-on-one coaching Ability to design and implement interventions based on data analysis and observations An excellent relationship builder with an ability to collaborate with, and motivate a variety of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities: Oversight of school site Program Leader, Teachers, classified support staff in the program and any other 3rd party support Teach classes as needed & observe in teachers in the classroom Support pre-program planning and operations including enrollments, student assessing, class rostering, team building huddles, and family orientations Support material deliveries, organization, and site logistics Assist teachers with any curriculum or lesson plan-related issues Resolve site and parent issues Assist with student behavior issues Attend and facilitate PDs, PLCs, Site Leader/Principal Meetings Attend weekly meetings with program leaders and participate in end-of-program debrief Assist with coordinating special event(s), as needed Review guided reading plans and action plans submitted by teachers Track data and gather feedback to identify and resolve barriers to growth opportunities for all teachers and students Plan and lead school-wide action plan meetings at each of your assigned school sites to review program progress and address challenges Assist with student assessment proctoring, as needed Snack & break supervision, as needed Assist in planning and facilitating make-up family workshops outreach and completion Conduct mid-program reflections and end-of-program debriefs with all program leaders Monitor student attendance at each assigned site Travel may be required Location: Various Elementary Sites, oversee 3-4 sites Duty Days: Varies- Based on designated site location.
Salary: $43.
