Service Sales Representative

Primary Responsibilities:
• In this role you will partner with existing customers and build new relationships to provide low voltage, fire, life, safety products and services.
• Prospecting and developing customer relationships to include upselling and multi-line development of services, providing, and negotiating pricing proposals to show case our superior customer service.
• Be responsible to identify customer needs and develop strategies to meet business objectives.
• Conduct seminars and demonstrations to identify and generate leads for prospective customers.
• Participate in trade shows, special product demonstrations, and other events with the objective of increasing sales and enhancing the company’s image.
• Work closely with service team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor ‘s degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge in Fire Alarm, Security, Nurse Call or Special Hazards Suppression Systems, or other related low voltage systems preferred.
• Ability to quickly identify and qualify opportunities.
• High degree of self-discipline with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Experience working with electrical contractors and end users, ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams desirable.
• Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
• Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated, success driven, have strong organizational and negotiating skills, a multi-tasker, reliable, self-determined and have excellent follow up skills
• Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
• Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.
